What Is Cinnamon?
Cinnamon comes from the bark of the Cinnamomum tree, dried and rolled into quills before being distilled into an essential oil. Sri Lanka supplies most of the world’s finest “Ceylon” cinnamon — delicate and refined — while cassia cinnamon runs hotter and spicier.
